Chapter 29 of "The Survivors" is ready for your reading pleasure. Matthew is rescued from the desert and soon finds himself in the home of a family that includes a boy his age. Ten-year-old Matthew (or is he 11? he seems to have lost track) is certainly not an interstellar explorer, and yet he is the first human to make contact with a sentient, extraterrestrial species. Is the young boy who has been injured, battered about, and abandoned by his friends up to the task?
Discovering A Mute Boy Chapter 14 by author Hunter Woods is now ready for your viewing pleasure.
In this chapter we learn a little more about the dynamics of Joey's family as Latham makes a trip over to his apartment to study. We would like to welcome our newest Guest Author Charles Bird as he provides us with a never before posted story with Legend Chapter 01
Astronomers have discovered that the incredible gravitational strength of supermassive black holes can tear planets away from their star systems and hurl them through space at incredible speeds—as fast as 30 million mph. On our continent, there is evidence of creatures who have long since passed into legend, fabled creatures known now only in dreams or, perhaps nightmares. But, not all creatures were such, some were different. Suppose they had great intellect, beauty and did wondrous things no longer possible to those of us whose ancestors remained behind after they left the world of their birth. Those of us who are part of the second generation can only speculate what those long ago folks were like, what they could do and what their powers were. It would be nice to believe that, someday, they would return, if only to see what became of those they left to survive on this third planet from a minor star, in the corner of an insignificant spiral of the great galactic wheel. This, then, is a tale of what that return might be like. If there are such beings among us already, I apologize if, in my ignorance, I have described you incorrectly or have insulted you in any way. Forgive me, for I am only human. Several chapters of Nick's story by author Nick Brady is ready for your reading pleasure.
